November Modern Gardens magazine

Mike Long Gardens is in print again in the November edition of Modern Gardens. We love how the Place to Meet Again garden is creating year round interest. In this article the editor considers the durability of outside spaces throughout the seasons.

Whilst outdoor spaces can come to mind more during the summer and autumn - when the weather is warmer and the birds and bees are busy - it is actually during the winter time that the garden can provide much needed space and change. Whether it is gathered in the shelter of sunken seating, as demonstrated in A Place to Meet Again or simply by gathering around a fire pit a well designed outdoor space should be a living area for all seasons.

If you find that you don’t tend to use your outside space as much across the year, or that looking out in the winter you are not finding as much joy to behold as at other times of the year then please get in touch. With many years of experience of how to get the best bespoke design for each outdoor space we can make sure that your garden brings you warmth, joy and peace all year round.
